Office of External Affairs

The University of 蘑菇tv System Office of External Affairs works with legislative and executive branch officials at the state and federal levels of government to enhance the quality of education and health care in 蘑菇tv and beyond. In addition, the Office coordinates with state and local leaders in the public and private sectors to ensure that the UA System continues to play an integral role in the development of the state鈥檚 workforce. The Office is also intimately involved in strategic communications and marketing efforts on all three campuses and at UAB Health System.

The UA System Office of External Affairs serves as the liaison between The University of 蘑菇tv Board of Trustees and the legislative and executive branches of state and federal government through its representation of the University of 蘑菇tv, UAB, UAH, and the UAB Health System. Under Board Rules, all governmental affairs activities of the three campuses and the UAB Health System are to be coordinated through this Office.
